Exotic Care

We are able to provide care to all creatures including reptiles, birds or small mammals like rabbits and ferrets. Husbandry and nutrition are the most important parts of preventative health care for these animals especially when first starting out. We also routinely perform desexing procedures for small mammals however we often refer to “Surgarloaf Animal Hospital” for more complex medical or surgical cases.

Wildlife Care

Our native wildlife encounter all sorts of problems just like our companion animals and when in need we will provide them the best care possible. We have developed a close relationship with Wildlife In Need Of Care (WINC) who service wildlife emergencies in our area and undertake rehabilitation work whenever appropriate. Please phone WINC on 1300 946 295 with any wildlife related questions or for rescue assistance.

* Please note bats/flying foxes carry potentially life threatening diseases, do not attempt to handle and if scratched or bitten please seek urgent medical attention*

Our staff are always keen to discuss routine health care for your current or future pets.

For further information about pet care, please phone our helpful staff during business hours.
